Prestige Badges

We introduce the all-new Prestige Badges feature that contributes for an engaging player experience by allowing the players to win badges for different achievements and to show the won badges on the poker tables.

The players can enable/disable the functionality on client-side via the newly added «Show Badges» option in the Tables area of the client’s settings:

  • If the option is enabled (as by default), the player can use the badges functionality and can see the badges of the opponent players. The opponent players also can see the badge of the hero player.
  • If the option is disabled, the player cannot use the functionality and see the badges of the other players.

When a player joins a table for the first time after the feature has been activated, a tooltip informs the player about the new functionality:

The tooltip closes as soon as the player selects the X button.

The player can then click/tap on the new badge icon on the left side of his/her nameplate to open the Badges popup. The popup displays all available badges – both locked and unlocked. When the player selects a badge, the bottom part of the popup displays information about it and allows the player to apply it (in case the badge is unlocked).

  • If the player selects a locked badge, the bottom part of the popup informs the player how to unlock the badge. The player can close the popup by clicking/tapping outside of it. Note that once the player has made any progress toward the unlocking of a given badge, depending on the badge configuration a progress bar and progress information may appear on the respective badge.
  • If the player selects an unlocked badge, the bottom part of the popup shows information about the badge (what the player did to unlock it) and allows the player to set it either on all tables of the current game type or on all poker tables. For instance, if the player is playing a Twister tournament, and tries to apply a given badge, the popup will give the player an option to apply it to all Twister tables (Twisters button) or to all poker tables (All button).

When the player selects one of the buttons, the popup closes, and the badge appears with a nice animation on the left side of the player’s nameplate on the specified tables:

The player can show a maximum of one badge. Note that if the player opens the badge popup after the player has already set a badge, the badge that is currently in use is marked with a checkmark:

Be aware that there is no dependency between the badges and the game types, meaning that the player can apply any badge on any table. For instance, the player can specify a badge for played MTTs to be shown only on Twister tables.

The player can also hover/tap on the badge of an opponent player to find information about it. Upon doing so, a tooltip with info about the badge appears:

When the player unlocks a badge a special message appears on the table to notify the player:

The feature is supported in the Download Desktop, Native Mobile, and Web clients.
