Splash Pots

The brand-new Splash Pots feature adds an extra bit of excitement by giving out rewards across various randomly selected poker tables within a specific time period. Every eligible player in the hand gets the chance to win Splash Pots rewards. When someone wins a Splash Pots prize, it goes straight into their main balance!

The prizes that can be granted via the new promo feature are cash, tickets, free blinds, and avatars and emoji packages.

When a player logs into one of the Poker clients, and a Splash Pots promotion starts at this moment or is already active, the player will be notified about the promotion via a toast message on the lobby and at the table.

Once the player opts-in (when opt-in is required), the player becomes eligible to receive Splash Pots rewards. Keep in mind that even when the player has opted-in, the eligible for the promotion table(s) will still show the toast message but it will not have opt-in options.

Note: In case a player does not manage to opt-in in the toast message in the lobby (when opt-in is enabled), the player will have a chance to opt-in when joining an eligible table during the period when the promo grants rewards. Upon sitting on an eligible table, a toast message with an opt-in option appears.

• If the player selects the Opt-in option, the player becomes eligible for receiving rewards.
• If the player closes the popup without opting-in or selects the "No,Thanks" option, the player is not eligible for receiving Splash Pots rewards. However, the player can still opt-in for the promotion via the new Splash Pots icon that appears on the table (left image below). Upon selecting the icon, a popup with information about the feature and opt-in option appears (right image below).

In case the table is eligible for multiple Splash Pots promotions for which the player has not opted-in, the available, not opted-in promotions will be shown at the very top of the popup, allowing the player to select the desired promotion and opt-in for it (also visible on the right image). Once the player opts-in, the player becomes eligible for the promotion.

The player can easily locate all Cash games and Twisters that are part of the promotion via the newly added Splash Pots attribute. The attribute is shown on all eligible games only during the period when the promotion grants rewards. Note that for group views, the attribute will appear when all tables behind the tile are part of the promotion.

When the player sits on an eligible table while a Splash Pots promo is active, the player runs the chance to win amazing prizes. Every X seconds a random poker table from all eligible tables is selected. The Splash Pots functionality is triggered at the beginning of each hand on the randomly selected table.

In case the table on which the player is playing is chosen, at the beginning of the hand, a nice animation changes its appearance.

As visible above, the animation comes together with a message that informs the players about the reward(s) that can be won and their distribution to the eligible players. In other words, the message informs the players about any of the following scenarios:

1. All eligible players on the table will receive rewards.
OR
2. All eligible players on the table and the winner will receive rewards.
OR
3. Only the hand winner, if eligible, will receive the set reward(s).

Important: Eligible players for receiving Splash Pots rewards are players who will be dealt cards in the upcoming hand. This means that:

• If a player has just joined the Cash table and is still waiting for the Big Blind at the moment when the hand is selected, the player will not be eligible for the Splash Pot reward(s), as the player will not be dealt cards during the upcoming hand.
• If the player is in a sit-out on a cash table, the player again will not be eligible for receiving a reward, as the player will not receive any cards during the upcoming hand. However, if the player is in a sit-out on a Twister tournament, the player will be eligible for receiving reward(s), as the player will be dealt cards in the upcoming hand
• If the player has not opted-in for the promotion, the player will not be eligible to receive reward(s) even if the player is dealt cards in the hand.

When the promotion is set to grant reward(s) to all eligible players on the table (points 1 and 2 above), a nice animation distributes the rewards to the players before the start of the hand (1). Each player then sees a Player Engagement Message (PEM) with information about the won prize(s) as the hand starts (2).

If the promotion is configured to grant rewards to the hand winner as well (points 2 and 3 above), after the end of the initial animations, the reward for the hand winner remains visible on the table during the entire hand (3). The player may click/tap on it to see info about the reward(s) that can be won (4).

At the end of the hand, the winner receives their reward via a smooth animation. Together with the animation, a PEM message with info about the won reward(s) appears.

Important: Be aware that when the promotion is set to grant prize(s) to the hand winner, and the pot gets split between several players, the Splash Pots prizes get split as well.

• If the reward is cash, the amount is divided equally among all players who have won the main pot.
• If the reward is a token or a free blind, the client sums the monetary amounts of the token(s)/free blind(s) and divides it equally among all players who have won the main pot. If, however, two players split the pot when the reward for the winner is a freeroll ticket, then both players receive the freeroll ticket.
• If the reward is an avatar and emoji package, all players who have won the main pot receive the package.
• In case the pot is split between two players, but one of the players is not eligible to receive the reward(s) (for instance, the casino of the player has not activated the Splash Pots feature), then only the eligible player receives the reward(s).

When the hand ends and the winner receives their prize, the table reverts to its original look.

In addition:

• A toast message will appear when the period during which the players can win rewards is ending.
• The Splash Pots rewards the player has won will be visible in the Hand History.

The feature is supported in all clients but can be enabled only for Cash games and Twister tournaments (Classic, Wild, and Age of the Gods twisters).
